Introducing

Dr. Julia grew up in Westfield, Massachusetts. She graduated from UMass Amherst where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She attended the University of New England College of Dental Medicine for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During dental school, Dr. Julia was involved with various school outreach programs where she taught underserved children about oral health care. She also volunteered at head start programs where she taught young kids how to read. As her passion for helping children continued to grow she decided to be a dentist solely for children.

After dental school she went on to receive further specialized training in pediatric dentistry at the Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. During her training she learned many advanced pediatric dental techniques and treatment options such as oral conscious sedation and general anesthesia. Her goal is to provide comprehensive treatment to children of all backgrounds in the safest and most comfortable dental environment.

Dr. Julia enjoys residing in and being part of the Houston community. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her fiance, traveling, playing tennis, and volleyball.

Dr. Mallika Thapar

Dr. Mallika grew up in Texas and attended The University of Texas at Austin where she majored in Biochemistry. After college she moved to New York City to pursue her doctorate in dental medicine at New York University.

As a student, Dr. Mallika realized that she enjoyed practicing dentistry most when working with children and went on to pursue a career in Pediatric Dentistry.

She completed her General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital and her Pediatric Dental Residency at Northwell Health, Staten Island University Hospital. During residency, she received specialized training working with children requiring complex medical and dental needs, sedation and hospital dentistry.

Dr. Mallika’s goal is always to make children feel comfortable by giving them a positive experience to remember. She hopes to instill good oral hygiene habits within her patients and to give them a beautiful smile. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, yoga and traveling to new places.

Dr. David Moreno

Dr. Moreno was raised in the Sugar Land area and graduated from Kempner High School in 2010.

He continued his education at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, then moved back to Houston and attended the UT School of Dentistry, graduating in 2018.

He played baseball in college and was inspired by his sister to join a dental association his junior year. From then, he was excited to embark on the journey of joining his sister in the profession as a dentist. Dr. Moreno has been working with kids since he was 16. His first job was at a summer camp for kids, which he worked every summer for 5 years. Teaching kids and becoming comfortable talking to them is now a big part of his current style of dentistry. He likes being outdoors and enjoying the weekends with his fiancée, JoAnn, and their families. He is also a huge animal lover, gamer and Astros fan.
